This bit of fun, power pop fluff was assembled from bits of various songs scraps which I had recorded. When the need for more up-tempo pop songs for our live shows surfaced, I started compiling. I already liked the sentence "I wake up from a beautiful dream, expecting to see you there" ... and decided to take it to my dear friend and song writing partner, Hassy, for a J-pop interpretation and translation. She delivered! Also, poor Bachin and Atsushi had been struggling learning so many English words for our 2006/2007 live shows,

that I thought I'd give them a break in 2008 and sing half of this one in their native tongue. This time I was the one sweating it out! I discovered how different the vocal phrasing is singing in Japanese versus singing in English, especially for a faster song! It was much more syncopated than I had ever imagined. Learning these little differences, with the help of my dear Japanese friends, has been so rewarding to me. In fact, we all learned from each other. We grew to support each other. If one of us ever needs help, all we have to do is: "Just say the word! Yeah!"

この、ちょっと楽しい軽めのパワーポップは、わたしが録りためていた端くれを寄せ集めたものです。ライブのためにアップテンポの曲が必要になったので、編集し始めました。"I wake up from a beautiful dream, expecting to see you there"という部分は気に入っていたので、友人でソングライター仲間のHassyに、J-pop風に訳してもらうことにしました。彼女はやってくれましたよ！2006年と2007年のバチンとアツシは、ライブのための英語の歌詞に四苦八苦していたので、2008年はちょっと休憩してもらって、わたしが彼らのコトバで、この曲の半分を歌おうと思ったのです。

とりわけ速い曲では、日本語で歌うのと英語で歌うのは全然違うことがわかりました！思っていた以上にリズムに違いがありました。日本人の友人のおかげで、この違いがわかったのは、わたしにとって非常に有意義でした。それに、お互いに学び合ったのです。共にサポートし合うようになりました。もし、誰かが助けを必要としているなら、やることは一つだけ： 「そう言ってくれよ！ね！」
